Life bans for two South American FIFA officials

Two senior South American officials involved in FIFA’s bribery and corruption scandal have been handed down life bans by the FIFA ethics committee.

Colombian Luis Bedoya and Chilean Sergio Jadue accused of bribery and conflicts of interest, according to the ethics committee, have breached five articles of the institution’s ethic code. Both are awaiting sentence from the US justice in the case of FIFA scandal.
