China to encourage football from schools
The Chinese government has set a new target in order to drive reforms on sport performance in schools.
For decades, the Chinese educational system has focused on academic performance. But now, with the growth of sport, specially football, the Ministry of Education has announced their intention of creating schools specialized in football.
Their target is that in 2017, around 20.000 primary and middle schools will be specialized in sport, with their own football training facilities.
